Terms of sale and use
These terms cover buying and using Quillpage, and the Quillpage account and cloud service, from Bazeflix ltd.
Free trial
New accounts can try Quillpage free for 7 days. Starting the trial needs a payment card. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, we charge the price shown when you started the trial (currently £19.99, or $19.99 in the US) once, on the day the trial ends, and Quillpage becomes yours for life. We email you a reminder about two days before the charge. You can cancel any time during the trial in Quillpage ▸ Account; Quillpage keeps working until the trial ends and you won’t be charged. Each account and each Mac can have one free trial.
Quillpage Cloud
Sharing, live editing, chat, calls and version history are part of Quillpage Cloud, an optional subscription (currently £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year, or $2.99 and $29.99 in the US). It’s included during the free trial. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel or change it any time in Quillpage ▸ Account (Manage Subscription); it then runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for. If you cancel within 14 days of your first Cloud payment, email us and we’ll refund that payment. Only a document’s owner needs Cloud; people they invite join free. When the owner’s Cloud ends, their shared documents become read-only for everyone and can still be downloaded. We never delete documents because a subscription ended. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.
Your licence
Buying Quillpage gives you a personal, lifetime licence to use it on up to 3 Macs you own or control, signed in to your account, including all future updates we release. You can move the licence by choosing Deactivate This Mac in Quillpage ▸ Account. You may not resell, share or transfer your account, purchase code or copies of the app.
Price and payment
Quillpage is sold for a single one-time payment, shown before you pay, including any applicable tax. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Refunds
If Quillpage isn’t right for you, email support@quillpage.app within 14 days of being charged and we’ll refund you in full. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
Accounts
Keep your password safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account. Free accounts can open and edit documents shared with them. Creating cloud documents needs a trial or licence.
Shared documents and calls
You keep ownership of everything you write. You give us permission to store and transmit your shared documents only to provide the service. Don’t use Quillpage to share anything illegal, to harass people, or to infringe others’ rights; we may suspend accounts that do. A shared document can have up to 5 people in it at the same time and can be up to 100 MB. We work hard to keep the cloud service available, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted, so keep copies of important documents (Download in any shared document saves a Word copy).
Compatibility
Quillpage runs on macOS 12 or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, and shared documents also open in current web browsers. It opens and saves Microsoft Word (.docx) files and aims for faithful compatibility, but some advanced Word features may display or save differently.
Liability
Quillpage is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Quillpage is limited to the price you paid.
